u probably need calcium reactor to achieve and maintain this type of coralline montipora...

not that kind of plating but just a tiny one.. if you have the correct level of calcium and iodine your coraline should be able to kick start from there..

I find Purple Up is quite good.

Also, sometimes depend on the type of rock.

Some rocks can have the coraline grow easily; while others very very slow.

Just my experience.

I see.

I saw one or two very tiny layered coraline algae starting to form on my rocks.

Could be those type you are talking about.

I dose Purple up every alternate day and calcium daily.
