mygestic with unknown infection HELP

hi, my fish i just got for 2 -3 weeks

but when i get it seem ok, the 2 day after in my tank this started, then condition did not become good or bad

he feed well got food sure eat one.

how can i cure him?

if theres a better pic, i can be more accurate.

it can be ucler or similar bacteria infection.

can use furan to treat if thats the case.

imo,its cauliflower or cotton growth,just let it be and it will cure by itself bro,

happen to some angels due to stress factors,it normally recover in abt 1 mth or so.

meantime just change h2o regularly,apply uv system all times until fully cured.

just my 2 cents.

Those on the fins should be cauliflower, but the pic with the growth near the gills.... is it a open wound?

u can try waterlife marazyn too....

Caution: I read somewhere that furan is quite toxic to us....(marazyn is carcinogic too ^.^ formeleyde) so use glove when handling them.

can confirm its cauliflower,other th whats suggested,u can also get a biological cleaner like neon goby,

from the net,www wetwebmedia, its suggested likewise bro,it will clean affected areas also,just my 2 cents only.

yes, like what holachantus mentioned.

from the fin, its cauliflowers, belongs to a kind of virus. no known cure yet as far as i know. its not fatal and normally will go off on its own when your water quality improve in my experience.

but the belly area looks like sore to me more. i suggest improve your water quality, feed less and hope for the best.

btw furan is kind of antibiotic, befuran & furan-2 are marketed names.

improving your water quality can help. try doing water changes but avoid large water changes as this will further stress fish. majestic angel require good water quality ( low dissolved organics and nitrate). Hope your fish gets well soon, keep us posted

when i got it i put in my Quadrentine tank. hmmm maybe that tank water condition not so good i suspect.

but i have transfer to my main tank inside a box.

some how main tank water quality is good.

well i keep feeding him more often ba.

As long as the fish is feeding. Don't worry too much. But take note if any grow inside the mouth. If this happened then your fish will have difficulty to eat. Best is to change your water regularly. It is quite commom to new angel.
