Hmm. Interesting question. I have not heard a fish die from overexposure to light before, if that is what you are saying, but in my opinion, you should try and give your frogfish a day/night schedule. It does not matter if it is an hour or 2 off the normal , but it would be good if you give your frogfish some 'night'. Leaving your sump light on 24/7 may stress your frogfish, although it may eventually adapt to the situation. Alternatively, you could provide your fish with some shade, like a cave made out of a flowerpot or something for it to retreat into when it wants some shuteye. In any case, you will have to work out a comprimise with your fish.

can but it will be very stressful to them which might kill them in the end.

i heard some success stories but i would not encourage it.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
