sewing thread digestible?

tied a mollie with sewing thread to target feed my frogfish

it swallow the whole thing together with the thread

i tried to pull the thread 3 hours later but fail

anything can be done?

Even if non-digestible will eventually come out the other end. You can try out the transparent plastic feeding skewer. With it you can wriggle dead feeders to stimulate feeding response. I saw AM selling.

its cotton thread, have cut the balance thread and it swallowed the left over

tried using tweezer but it doesnt feed

Tweezer is very visible and shiny. The transparent skewer is designed to be almost invisible underwater.

Hi Bro,

Cotton will disintegrate in matters of days in salt water thus need not worry to much. But if its nylon or polyester than you need to worry.

initially plan is to comm with my 5" lionfish in office tank

it doesnt eat, could be due to stress

move it back to home sump and started taking live food
