percell cataract skimmer

uhhhh,anyone has any advice on this skimmer cuz there is hardly any bubble.The bubbles are small but they are only found on the top of the chamber and it isnt skimmin out anything when i left it overnight,can anyone help????I bought it from nature aquarium,i'm currently using it with a 600l/h pump

this is what happens when u go for cheap stuff....

nah jus kidding , i belive u need to insert the air tube to the power head , there usually have a hole for the air tube

yeah but water just leaks out of the air tube,makinig it worse. Now there are slightly morebut still insufficient.There aren't any foam at the collection cup so i dun think it's good

New skimmers need to be left running for a few days before they start skimming. Even my airstone skimmer can skim so yours should be able to skim as well.

Place the tube higher.. and turn the knob at the end of the tube (if any) to allow more air to go in.. its usually the case..

And yeah.. new skimmers take time to kick in..

thanks for the help but now my skimmer is producing liquid waste.Yeah there are much more bubbles now and its better. I must admit,the design of the skimmer is quite nice,i will try to get a picture

no...its smaller,i'll try to post the pic.but the words on it are similar
