the yellow color fin is there, its the lighting causes it. both r recent.

the light out method cant work?

yes, catch it after light out, midnight......you should be able to simply catch it out by hands

i tried yesterday ard 2 a.m. turn on the tank lights and he didnt swim out leh. hide inside somewhere. waited for a while and cant really see him coming up. so gave up and went to bed instead, hahaha..

by hands? got spike at his tail leh. i scare to catch fishes by hands worrying hurt them or something or cut myself, hehezzz...

i always use food to try and trap them..

my fishes hide in the rocks at night (except the clownfishes),

so quite hard to get them...

i used those mini "fish tank" that we used to store our fishes in primary school..

minus the terrapins.. haha..

placed henry's food in there.. and i'll leave it with just the cover open..

once a fish swims in, i believe quite hard for him to swim upwards..

but this methods requires good luck and timing..

I'm met you in iwarna on wed. I manage to catch my tang with the coke bottle trap. Took me a while but manage to get the fellow.

Can pass you the trap for you to have a go to see if it works.
