Some more available brands of salt tested for their yield and elements and documented on practicalfishkeeping.co.uk April 2010 Issue. But some other brands like Oceanic, coralife(used to), instant ocean and marine environment that were commonly used in Singapore were not available.

click at the links below for a look on reviews:

Part I

Part II

and just in case you guys don't mind more datas of more salt brands tested in the passed few years,

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Help advertise the salt I'm using...

D-D salt has got stable, good parameters, and no problems with solubility. So far, v. happy with it. My only complaint is the 23kg bucket is v. heavy, the handle breaks easily. :whistle

23kg...that's a lot of salt mix...

oops just realise the report is from Reefdepot website... hehe....

though the report is posted from practicalfishkepping website... hmmm.....

maybe should check the source site.

also a lot of the other params are not tested - unlike the 2007 - 2008 version.

Eqpt: Deltec MCE 600, Tunze 6055 with Tunze 7091 controller, Artica 1/15 HP chiller, AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED Light System

2011 resolution : Do it simpler, better and in an easier way!

lol rd posted the report that was taken from practicalfishkeeping ba.

Anyway D-D salt has been tested extensively in labs, and even by reefers in the States and around the world. Remember combing through all the forums especially RC to read their reviews and testing before making the decision to go with D-D coz not many reefers here use it. So far, been happy with my decision. :)

hmm curious dont they have smaller packaging or something?

23kg is alot of salt man

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

yeah, alot of parameter not tested, potassium is something of interest for good quality salt. things like strontium, molybdenum, iodine, iron and some other elements are important as well but not tested. :( and too few brands tested. but can use the outdated analysis for reference for other salt also la, not too bad.

i seen smaller ones before, about 6 kg i think.
