aiyah bro.

should have told me earlier just now. could have passed you some CoralRX to dip it.

reasons could be -

1) you just transfered them to your tank. they take some time to adjust.

2) they are irritated by pest. dipping them in CoralRX can help to get rid of pest.

In fact, I strongly reccommend you dip all corals before adding to your tank as a precaution.

dip it soon, else you will find that the polyps just disappear one day.

I have one small colony that died the same way.

seems disturbed by pest most likely.

do a dip like what jacky mentioned.

after that place it somewhere far from that location.

the pest may have gotten on the sandbed and will spread. get hold of a new frag of zoas and clean it niccely.place it back on this current location and monitor.

if samething happens after 1-2wks.. your tank is infested!

would be extra kiasu to dip all your corals. suggest not to do it unless you're in crisis management mode as you will be stressing your corals.

err why u wanna dip your live rocks? wait u disturb the bacterial colonies and result in die-off, resulting in your bio filtration crashing, and whole tank crash?

My tank was infested about a month ago.

When you can see luminous bug on the tank wall, you will then know you have an infestation.

Mine was like that a month ago. nudis were practically everywhere.

You can see the pics of nudis on my tank thread.... I think somewhere at page 185 +/- 15 pages :P.

How heavily stock is your tank now?

maybe give us an FTS and we can give you proper suggestions.

i see all kind of worm in my tank. feeling really irritated by them.

i only having 2 clown. 1 brain, 1 candycane, 1 sun coral and several colony of zoa.

Not all worms are bad. some are actually pretty good scavengers but ALL of them looks ugly.

You want want to dip everything, be prepared to go through your entire cycling process again......

Else maybe you wanna ping Wilson, Desi & Raydiative to see how they do their worm hunting at night.

If only a few colonies of zoas, you can try dipping them 1st and see if they opens up.

If they do, then you don't have to go through the trouble.

LOL! jacky, the worms are indeed ugly!!

hunting the worms are actually not very practical as in when the young worms are small they feed on pods and stuff so they wouldnt come out.

after hunting for wks or so,the big ones all gone and u decided to stop. but when the young ones grew old and big u have a new group of worms!

anway bobbit worms are really annoying. if its not too much of a problem, try to restart ur system. better redo now or infuture u haf hell of a prob!

around 15 minutes. saw 2 bristle worms drop out.

ok. just leave it where it is for a while, allow it to settle in, try not to keep on moving it around first. are the polyps "totally closed tight" ?
