will 10k lighting be most ideal balance for growth ? i know warmer lights 2700k-6700k will make growth go the fastest but algae growth too if parameters go off abit...plus iodine will be added occasionally...

also , will over-skimming be beneficial as frags tend to produce mucus upon fragging and recuperation....

Imho, intensity will be more of a concern when it comes to growth? I guess 10k would be the ideal color temp... for skimming, just get a sufficient skimmer, no need to over skim.. they will need nutrient laden water to be able to grow well..

there might be sps frags added on so wouldn't nutrients be an issues ?? the nutrients will be fine or even gd for softies but lps and sps with freshly cut tissue wouldn't appreciate these much right ? cos if overskim can feed plankton occasionally with skimmer off for an hour then skim all excess particles out...

usually propagation tank wouldn't it be better for pristine super clean water ?
