Bro, if u intend to use ehiem, the hightest is 1264 but u will need 2. There ppl who use 2 1262 to power their tank but of cse with wave makers. For my 4x2x2, me also using 6500 and 2400 l pump to power my tank, almost similar to bro vtec. Hope this serve as reference to u.

So meaning mine's around 600L so must use something not less than 6000L/H lo?

But wat I notice is with my current 2400l/h pump somehow already disturbing the sand at the bottom Liao till the extend I need to place a LR there to break the current. :(

think yr return placed too low to the bottom...i'm using 5000I/h for my 4x2x2 (approx. 400L)...no issue with sand flying around.....

Eheim 1262 alone will be sufficient. Use 1" piping for return to fully maximize the return flowrate. You can split the return into 2 x 1" outlet at opposite ends of the tank. If you use 1/2" piping you will restrict the flow of the pump too much.

Always something more important than fish.

+1. I am using a single 1262 for my 422 tank.
