Help!!! my skimmer gone crazy?!?!?

hi guys, i m using a reef octopus skimmer extreme series , then suddendly today came back from reborn, the skimmer went crazy.

this morning i saw the skimmer , bubbles producing all very small and dense , but when i came back , there is a mixture of big and small bubbles .

still quite dense but tons and tons of micro bubbles are leaking!!??!?!? help pls ty

oh another thing , i think i had a glimpse of the skimmer before i add my filter sock , looks like everything is fine .

but after i add ......

any skimmer service person i can call?

Did u rinse the filter sock before using? And when u say microbubbles are leaking, u mean the collection cup overflow???

nope i did not rinse the filter sock , the micro bubbles are from the skimmer out to the main tank

I believe the issue is because you did not rinse the filter sock in tap water before using it.

I can surely say its normal.. anything you add to your tank may affect the skimmer.. try filter wool.. no matter how much you rinse, its gonna make the skimmer go really crazy..

Anyway it wouldn't be long before your skimmer goes back to normal..

Happened to me also when I added the fileter sock without rinsing first.
