mine was a yellow tip and a pink tip elegance...my pink tip was doing ok till my yellow tip start to recede as i din know the soft tissue part was resting on my rocks...by then too late....and i dun want to take the risk...and it affected my pink tip...so in the end both habis...

once they r happy with the spot...dun shift it anymore...

they can be hardy, feeding on different types of food and can tolerate high nutrient levels...but very sensitive when comes to space requirements, handling and placement.

Siang, mine is pink-tip. :)

Now i dont dare move it le since the position seems destinated to be its resting ground. . .

But, in deed, its really huge when fully Bloomzzzz

low wave movement, good lightings and lots of empty space around it.... mine is doing great.. from iwarna as well

Yea, the key to it, is the wave movement.

In my office tank, the wave was terrible, even when at bottom.

:heh:

Elegance don't need much movement. Just slow movement to blow off any detrius that may be covering it will do i think.

Eniram, Whats the reason for shifting, esp when its behaviouring well and 'happy' at the spot?

PS: mine is Barebottom. Lotsa Zoas frag at bottom :)

I think if it's doing ok, u can leave it... impt thing is that the elegance do not touch the rocks as it will irritates them from what i read.

No touching of rocks.... Hmmmm (This i cannot achieve)

My small tank doesnt have the space required then....

Right! forgot that your tank is a bare bed one.

As said in earlier post they are found naturally on sand bed so it would be ideal to palce them on a sand bed but since your's is doing well then its ok.
