SRC Member albinosage Posted March 12, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted March 12, 2010 Hehe, what took you so long to post your tank pics bro? Nice softies tank, good collection of mushrooms. I think your betta boxes of chaeto can put at the side or even the back so that it will not obstruct your view. SRC Member demonsori Posted March 12, 2010 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 12, 2010 Nice, Is that my rock of green mushroom??? yupz..more n more flurorescent...multiplying... regards to breeder box-- if at the sides, the lighting not intense enough for chaeto... i check on my shroom frags often,,they are placed just below the chaeto on 1mm-3mm coral sand...the chaeto shades them... i can use a small cup to flush excess slime by mushroom frags when needed......i often use tweezers rearrange the frags as snails and six-lined wrasse allowed to enter breeder box for cleaning and pest ctrl...intentionally place box below waterline...my hydor K3 helps circulate water behind the rocks at the back of the tank so boxes will affect flow i presume.. more on ease of checking my frags...currently sacrifice outlook...hope to attach a 2 ft frag tank/ refugium beside this tank soon... SRC Member LaW Posted March 12, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted March 12, 2010 thats some good results for a tank this simple. i understand how hard it is to manage such setup. i came from a similar low-tech sumpless 2by1by1 setup too. Quote If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
