newbie 2ft tank!

Is that coral chips you are putting on the bottom of your tank?

My Setup:

3x2x2 tank with IOS

Equipment List:

Chiller: Artica 1/5HP

Chiller Pump: Sicce 4000

Return Pump: OR3500

Skimmer: Deltec APF600

Wavemaker: Tunze Wavebox/2x Hydor K2/SCWD wavemaker

Lights: DElighting 2x150W MH + 2x 39W T5 Atinic

FR: Skimz

FR Pump: Atman AT-104

Tubby ATO, Kalkweisser Reactor with magnetic stirrer.

ok.. :) :) actually i wanted to change the background long ago..i dun like the background actually ,will go change maybe next week..will update more next week after i change my background first.. :)

yes..it is coral chips..that time still quite new to marine so when i upgraded to 2ft ,i get some advice from ah beng ,den he ask me to use coral chips to stable my water..dunno is true anot also ..

nice tank.....i like yr zoas corner and acan lords....

i wd suggest changing yr background to black / blue oyama....that wd be perfect!

Do clean yr tank walls as often as you can....

try to dose more calcium to speed up the growth or your coraline algae... Also you have red slime at the bottom of the left side of the tank.. do try to control it and not let it spread else it's a pain in the a$$... if possible change the coral chips to sand.. will look much nicer.. =]

other then that your tank is actually very nice and corals looks happy!

red slime typically means cyanobacteria. a google search would tell you everything about it though i dont see much of a situation in your tank.

your corals are really healthy thats for sure, which would mean good water and living conditions :eyebrow:
