SPS at Ginza

I recently went to Ji#@i at Ginza Plaza and saw in their display tank have 1 specimen of green Monti. looks very nice at first but i noticed they are onl using FL lights!!!!!!!!!

so my question here is that is FL able to cause colouration in SPS? i know that the success in colouring up SPS using MH is that Mh produces a lot of UV radiation but does FL produce UV radiation at all?

Most LFS are set up to make $$ like all business...having top of the line lighting to keep the corals thriving will only add to the cost of keeping the business running.

Remember..they are set up to sell corals..not to keep them..that's why they are using FL.

The LFS owner acctually was getting his hands on MH lights but i was told that there was a delay of shipment on the lights . Thus Fl was just a standby light source..

I think MH lights would be up in the shop soon
