Amphipod/Copepod Infestation

I think i have an amphipod/copepod infestation in my tank. I noticed it one day after i introduced a large GSP into my tank. It may have come from there. I just have to ask: Are there any disadvantages of having an infestation of these creatures? There are like 2 of them every 1cm^2! There are no fish in my tank currently and i have no mechanical filtration in my tank. I also have a sump with an algae scrubber in it. Any sugguestions?

how i wish i have an infestation as well, they are good source of food for alot of difficult fishes, once you have fishes you will wish that the pods wont get eaten up so fast

enjoy them now. in a few weeks/months when you add fish, you will see a dramatic decline in them. you'll then get so desperate for pods and wished you had some. even might resort to growing them or buying them out of bottles.
