feeding market prawn pollute water?

after feeding market prawn, my tank water surface has lots of bubbles

my skimmer skim out a lot of stuff too

i have no such issue with feeding mysis shrimp

try to wash yr mkt prawn b4 feeding and make sure no leftovers in the tank....i only target feed mkt prawn to pratas and acans....otherwise, a lot of pollution...frozen mysis / brineshrimp less polluting...

used it to feed my eel as mysis shrimp does not sink

freeze yr mysis shrimp and when u want to feed...wash it with water to let it melt a bit...then bring it near to yr eel..and rub the mysis cube to diffuse them for yr eel to feed...

will try your method but can only try after i purchase a long tweezers

anyway the surface bubbles cleared after 2 hours of skimming

hopefully it doesnt bring up the NO3 as i intend not to water change for this setup

you're using deltec...no problem one.....

its my office setup, using prizm pro

cant compare with deltec but please with its performance
