Ok.. will try that later... But i notice the reading fluctuate when i move it to different position / location.. Or when i shake it..

my take is more like probe cabling or the sensor tip broke .... maybe.

hopefully the meter is ok.

BTW, the probe you would need to replace every 18 months.

Eqpt: Deltec MCE 600, Tunze 6055 with Tunze 7091 controller, Artica 1/15 HP chiller, AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED Light System

quite a number of places sell them, yup not cheap.

maybe about $80.

RD, DE Lighting sells them.

I think SL and ML too.

call PetMart. it might be cheaper.

price can defer quite a lot.

Just buy some Litmus Paper... Or get it from me dude. I stay Toa Payoh.

I always keep some as PH probe always drift.

PH 1 is not hospitable for living organism. Too acidic, and will adjust upwards because it will neutralise with the environment over time. You will see corals dying and coraline disappearing, coral skeleton melting...

impossible for your pH to be so low bah :) probably problem with your equipment. too low pH means its too acidic, but pH doesnt determine the strength of the acid. so don't worry about it "burning" your hands. hydrochloric acid and vinegar have very similar pH levels but extremely different corrosive properties :)

anyway, get a new probe to test.
