Anybody uses the above filtration system from TOM Aquarium? Heard that it's quite a good starter kit for hobbyist intending to start a marine aquarium. According to the product description:

Tom products can be bought at Iwarna, C328 and Pet Mart but usually basic items such as powerhead or internal filter. If you are keen, you can get the LFS to check with the importer whether they can bring it in for you.

My personal take on Tom products is that it is usually no fills and thus don't put too much hope that it will perform like the top end brands.

Hi Bro

After reading from MarineDepot, NexTag and Marine&Reef on this product, it seem to receive lots of great reviews. You may wish to get on reef central to check whether any reefer in US tested and proven this product is great.

My 2 cents on the Pro and Con for thsi system:

Pros:

All in one system which will be neat.

Once in operation, minimum adjustment is needed. Work like a canister which is a close system.

Auto top up which I think its cool.

Cons:

Saw a review that the clip is plastic and thus tightening need to be careful.

Hard to upgrade the skimmer and thus if one need a more powerful skimmer, then it will be a challenge.

If ou bring it in and please post the results. It should interest some of the reefer here.
