Hi, Yr sun corals pic u posted on (Posted Yesterday, 04:45 AM)

Does not look healthy, u have easy access to target feed them ? :)

Hi bro, Is your tank still running? Love your sun coral tank..

You mean the orange branching one? That one is not really opening fully yet? Seems more stubborn than normal sun coral..

Hi terryz,

Unfortunately it was decom due to distractions / neglect , pass some to another reefer

The tissue looks receding try placing under high flow n target feed cyclopeeze or other juicy food to lure it out. It may probably increase Yr nutrient n it would take 2 months to see some recovery but 1 month should be good to get it feedIng

Thanks for Yr comment, I may be returning to nps (not sure at Wat scale though)

I have a rhyzo that has been neglected by LFS let's see how it recovers

Sad to hear that, Hope to see you back soon... Your tank is inspiriting..

The receding skin was already receded at the LFS when I bought it... It is under high flow and I am feeding with cyclopeeze and mysis, in addition to my dosing unit... I have seen them catch cyclopeeze and mysis before...

Hopefully they will grow back but what I got from other oversea reefers is that it is difficult to get back the receded skin...

Sakura Seafan? Whats that seafan?

Terryz u seen my NPS b4 rite, it is the blue seafan, common but prone to die.

I wasn't paying attention to nps at coral farm, just too much hassle to prepare the food, not to mention the many types of food to feed n lastly nutrient export.

I may try but I am ATM sourcing for rhyzo (pink) n supersun, before considering seafans
