wow. u work in the finance line.. and u cat be bothered to enter ur details in your credit card slip.

Normally the bank will pay, if you discover it early and u have sufficient reasons to prove that you are not the perpetrator...i think that applies even without insurance (oops, the banks better not see this)..

But it all depends on situation, sometimes the bank may make you pay 50%, if they happen to know it was due to your neglience that led the perpetrator to get ur card details...

To conclude, the payment is not certain.... some banks may refer the matter to the authorities and wait for 'investigation to complete'.... it is all entirely up to individual banks.... :angel:

Tt's quite true.

There are software that can build profiles of spending habit of each credit card holder.

I remembered an incident in Prague many years back. Passport and wallet pickpocketed. Waited several days then got passport and couple of days for credit cards.

Came back, saw the bill that several transactions were made and gone through with two cards on the very same day when it was pickpocketed. Amounted to S$5000.

Disputed...and won the case...phew... :)
