Have a bit, but all brown colour. Cerianthus anemone can be found near St John. You can get goniopora and anemone near Pawai and Senang too.

No..

Divers rule of thumb..

Take nothing from the ocean.. Leave nothing behind but memories..

Imagine everyone taking everything out.. what will be left of the ocean..

Every little bit counts..

Hmmm..

Except those we get from shops which are already harvested.. We try and preserve them...

kekekeke

Machiam slapping my own face..

But we dunn physically take them from the ocean.. The harvesters do that.. So dunn feel so sinful..

=P

Harvesting is illegal in designated marine parks.

The islands around SG are not, so technically... yes you can harvest. But if you so wish to do so... do it carefully.

Anyway, did you guys know that in SG waters, we have as much coral species as M'sia? And we have coral spawning just this year? Or was it late last year?

Just that visibility is so bad with all the silt caused by land reclamation and international shipping.... people are saying that the corals around SG are doomed to die soon from all that silt in the water.

When I go fishing, it is common to hook up sea fans and sea pens.... ;)

is the water quality really that muddy in the southern islands?

I agree the water water quality is really bad during the linking of the islands but after the linking, it changed the main water current direction and made the current really swift. I fish in the southern islands regularly, I find that at times the water around sister island, raffles lighthouse can be really clear and blue
