SRC Member onizukaa Posted February 13, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted February 13, 2010 wow very very nice! i love the edge so as fishes can swim downwards to explore the bottom "cliff" but can the tank take the pressure of this kind of setup? hmmm

Eniram
Need snorkeling gears to place rocks and gems on the deeper end. I also see 2 pieces of glass silicon together, not really safe i would say.
Terryz_
I dunno if it is possible? Have to ask tankmakers... I am trying to get the tank thread from the member in that group.. Will post up once I got it... But it seems like they joined 2 glass together... Quote Member of:

Terryz_
Consulted Vincent from Aquariumartist... It will require me to have 19mm glass and a concrete stand to support the tank... And easily cost up to 4k plus... and need to be done on site... So forgo the idea and stick to my old plan... Maybe will see a tank like this soon.. I heard Chek Jawa the display tank is like this... SRC Member shootsimon Posted March 5, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted March 5, 2010 There's a cheaper way to do that if cost is an issue. Instead of doing needing a 19mm glass to cut into shape, why not just put a box into a normal structure tank. I believe it can be done. After that just cover the area with sticker to hide the sight of the box in the tank

SRC Member shootsimon Posted March 5, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted March 5, 2010 If not juz fill up with LRs and stake it like a cliff like that not only you save $$ but also maintain the tank vol @ the same time more LRs to house natural organism instead of leaving them in the sump.
