need some help?, would like to know if i'm using a cannister filter, where can i placed my protein skimmer and what type of skimmer do i need to use, what is the best portein skimmer. planning to use a 3 ft tank. pls advise expertise?

looks like you don't have a sump. if that's the case, weipro (which is probably the hottest around for that category of budget) would be good cos it can be hung on the outside and would not obstruct your view of the tank. of course you will still need to put the PH in the tank which will affect your water temp slightly.

get a weipro 2011 or 2012 skimmer.For 2011 get a eheim 1250 and for 2012 get weipro 3000 as the pump...you cld always configure to have the pump placed externally from the tank.

use a hang on skimmer on the back of ur tank...... not space consuming at all. get a aqua c remora if u hv no budget.
