Recommended Posts

I think u shd add the market prawn so it kick start faster.. Just dosing bacteria i think it will not kick in fast enough.

Haha.. i just added the fish food instead of using market prawn. CNY is coming, doesn't want the house to be smelly.

Anyway, i went to AM yesterday to get the items. They are open even during Chinese New Year.

bro if i say it correctly, is to really dissolve all the salt ==> sea water

if you mix for few hours and just pour it in,some undissolved salt will burn the corals <=== not sure where i read from i maybe wrong.

i always play safe to mix the salt and circulate min 1 day before doing water change.

was told previously - that was to let the water params stabilize over the night.

How long can the mix salt water last? I mean without any air pump in it.

I am kind of lazy. Instead of mixing the salt water every week, i will make a big pail of it and pour into the Jerry Cans.

Anyway, does anyone know where can i get a Jerry can. Around 8- 10 litres type
