what coral is this?

got it from my friend... it feels hard, like some coral skeleton. never seen it extend polyps before and it is the size of a 50cents coin.

looks like Pectinia paeonia. the lettuce coral.

comes in many colour forms.

looks like acan maxima or commonly called scolymia.

need some feeding...like prata.

Hi Mark,

It more look like Pachyseris coz it had ridges and valleys running along the edge of the coral. I had the colony about 8in diameter and never produce polyps or tentacle. But be extra careful cos these coral produce strong chemical that kill my sps nearby.

Ya btw I saw the glimpse of my royal grammar that hide from your fish the yellow dottyback. Some how he do fine with some torn tail fin. It will be back to the community soon. Thanks again for the fish Bro.
