Bristles squirting....

Scientifically speaking, a bristle's mouth is only able to act as a scavenger and not a predator. It does not in anyway have the anatomical means to hunt down or attack fishes... All they can do is to consume already dead or nearly dead fishes.... I read the reports on bristles from some Marine biologist and he is actually full of praise for bristles... And many times fishes are hunted down by crabs or already dead and the bristle is caught snacking on the already dead fish and blamed for being the predator.... I have tons of this worm in my tank... alot alot... And they do absoloutely no harm to my fishes and corals....

Alright....... With that said and done with.... My problem actually happened when I changed water awhile ago.... While I was adding the newly mixed water (that I almost finished adding), most of my bristles (maybe even all cause alot came out) came out of their hiding places and began squirting a whitish misty substance (yes... alot like sp*rm) in my tank.... Now my tank's all misty... What happened? Mating? Do bristles even mate like that? Is the mist gonna clear? Hehehe... Pretty cute....

Lots of baby bristles?! Oh my goodness!! My mother thinks they're creepy and she might force me to shut down my tank if she sees all of them!! How do I reduce the number of baby worms I have? Are there any fishes that will eat them? Sorry I know this sounds cruel but it's necessary to save my tank from my mum!! Thanks for help!!!

Nah... don't overeact. It may not even happen. Well, even if you have an explosion of baby worms... there are some fishes or shrimps that do dine on bristleworms eg. Coral Banded Shrimps, wrasses etc.
