Algae for Tangs

Requiring advice please.

I bought the Green algae seaweed for my Sailfin, Brown and Bristletooth tangs but none eating. They only peck and spit it off later. There are other color of algae seaweed which are Red and Green. Does the color makes any difference? Thanks.

it will take sometime b4 they reconised them as food,in the meantime u can feed them with lettuce.Mine will even consumed carrot and broccoli.These vegetables provided them with vitamins and it also eradicates Head and leteral line disease.All the best.
