hi bros out there,

would like to seek help in getting connectors for the Ehiem Pump that i'm using..

not very sure the model number, but i assume most of the output should be the same right?

currently using a hose to connect the pump to the chiller..

i'm afraid one day the ring holding it would just burst..

it happened once when i didnt put the ring at all

then i tried putting one one ring, rusted, and dropped off, but it was still tight..

didnt want to take the risk,

got 2 the 2nd time...

now one of it dropped out as u can see in the picture, only left with one..

the ring is quite tight, but i guess this can only just be a temporary solution...

kindly advice...

i use flexi pvc hose for all my pump connection to hard pipes for noise reduction from vibration

then only thing different i did was i used cable tie instead of those metal cramp.

perhaps that will solve ur problem.

if you die die want to get spare parts for ehiem, look into C328. both of them carries quite abit of ehiem spare parts.

all the best.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

cable tie!

why didnt i think of that!

strong enough to hold the hose to that small area of "output" right?

good idea.. thanks

i know..

but i'm not sure what spare parts to get...

thinking of getting those hard pipes,

but it may not be as flexible for me to connect it out of my sump to my chiller..

which is also another problem cos the input of the chiller wouldnt fit the hard pipe

i never had any issue with regards to using cable ties.

and i will still stick to using flexi for connection between my pipes and pump.

for vibration reduction.

all the best, hope that will solve your problem.

im pretty sure it will.

im pretty sure it will.

can i ask even if u pull your cable ties really tightly,

is it tight enought for it to not move?

no matter how tight i pull,

somehow the cable tie still manages to move..

using small cable ties.. maybe i should get the big ones...
