Where have cheap cleaner shrimps

There are shops that sell relatively more expensive than avg...

So wanna ask if there're any shops that sell at reasonable price.

Is $9 expensive for a cleaner shrimp?

Think $8 is avg.

But some sell $6 for small, $8 for big.

Also some farm selling $6 for big too.

Anyway, as long as water is right, within 1mth it can grow big.

I would advise you to get from good LFS. I used to go for price, and have suffered many mortality, especially for the prawns. I used to think that my tank conditions are not optimal, but after I have eliminated all possibilities, I have to conclude that the quality of the live stock is the issue. So I went to get from good LFS at a more expensive price and so far the prawns are doing great. I bought a pair of cleaner shrimps and a pair of fire shrimps and they all have at least molted twice in the past month. My fire shrimps will even climb up my hand when I put my hands in the tank to clean the glass (they probably think that it is food)

I am not saying that those cheaper ones will definitely die, but the chances of them dying on you is definitely higher, and I have to learnt it the more painful way.

the bigger ones "suppose" to be more hardy.

CS is fragile n need proper introduction, more so than fishes, cause there's no white spot n such b4 it died due to PH n temperature shock.

Ermm... Yeah so if you see the shop selling around eight bucks for big and six for small, it's pretty reasonable....

R*born sells around that price but I bought a big one before for six dollars in a shop aroud Aljuned area but its cause the uncle knows me lah....

If you're getting for nine bucks I think it's pretty alright... Just buy lah and save the travelling cost....

amk ave 4 blk 114 sell giant sri lankan fire shrimp. which is oso a cleaner shrimp. for i think 16 to 18 bucks.

ML still have fire shrimps. Good size. Buy 2 can get discount. Got all my shrimps from there 3 months ago. 4 cleaner and 4 fire. Still doing well
