after seeting n running the tank since Dec09.. I would like to post some photo for comments and room for improvement.

my new member the orange sun coral, training it to eat during day. photo take last night 1hr after light off.

What in my mind now (future tanks)

4 x 2.5 x 1.5 low profile coral tank

3 x 2.5 x 1.5 low profile reef tank

Decommissioned Tanks :

2 ft seahorse tank back in the 1990s'

2.5 ft cube mixed reef tank in 2007 to 2008

wow! flame scallop?? these guys are not easy to keep.. how long have you had it for?

nice suns..

it have been in the tank for abt 3 weeks only. I feed cylco-eee (duuno spell correctly or not) every other day, with main pump off and only ON wavemaker for abt 1hr

btw...I think the scallop is EFS, cos there are some blueish lighting at the mouth.

used to keep that..

very facinated by the blue light at the mouth...

but it jumps around alot whenever its unhappy at its location..

ended up always hiding behind my LR,

so i sold it.. haha..

update of my simple 2ft tank aft CNY

did a major restructured before CNY as most of the coral dead due to dosing of copper to kill white spot.

got a few new coral just before CNY, mostly are anomoie (my fav). take a look at some of the photos below, comment are most welcome. Thanks

the LR are mainly from reborn and iwana. bigger ones from from reborn n those smaller and flat ones are from iwana

Yup.. I regret dosing copper to treat the ich. thereafter I make like 40% and 40% and another 25% within a week. Then just before new year another 80% water change. really lots of work to reduce the copper level in the water.

here are some few photos of the anomoie aft feeding. I like the rose ani most.

yup. I love the red one most too, my green BTA doesn't look as green as in the LFS. I wonder could it be the blue light I am using. I am using 2 x actinic blue (T5) n 2 x 12K white (T5). maybe I should change one of the tube to power blue. I really don't know. <_<

update of my tank after installing a (undersize) chiller, now temp btw 26 - 27deg. corals are doing even better. The super-sun now open fully whole day.

i have that red milliepora too ^_^ my temp is set at 26.8 and the white edges turning to red already after a week :D let me know any changes since ur temp is at 26.0. :thanks:

      WTS Beautiful Pair of Common Cleanfish Pair

      With a heavy heart, I am selling my pair of beautiful common Clownfish. One is around 3 cm, the other 5 cm. They are being territorial suddenly (I changed tank) and the smaller fish including my baby parrotfish are being pushed or harassed. I can't have another tank and I don't have the heart to isolate them. They are not shy, they come close to the front of the tank when I'm around. Feed mix of flakes and frozen shrimp. I've learned to live and adore them so, if keen please ensure they go to good homes and won't be abandoned or given away.
