i'll just sell it..... save some space caused every single square foot in average HDB cost more than $200 bucks!!! to keep a 2x1x1 tank, it means I'm wasting $400 worth of property....

For me my spare 2ft tank inside the toilet is my water change out tank..........every 2 weeks I will fill it up with mixed saltwater and run a powerhead inside for 24hrs before doing a water change the next day, there's also a 5000l/hr pump inside this spare tank for delivery NSW to my main tank or sump.

I drain the water from my tank to the toilet via a long hose and start the pump inside the spare tank to deliver NSW into my main tank.........this eliminate the need to carry pails of water in & out of my living room and stain out my marble flooring during the process.

just my 2 cents worth..........

Hmm... can also. For me, the water change just involved shutting down my return tank. Empty the sump and fill it with fresh water and add salt. use a pump to circulate between the first and last chamber for a couple of hours and switch the return pump back on. dont have sand or anything in sump. just skimmer so this way is easyt.

my sump got refugium plus its quite fully packed so got to deal with the hassle.........
