TGIF fellow reefers! How often do you feed this with prawn from wet market? Can I feed everyday? For plate, bubbles etc can feed everyday?

u can feed them once a week....twice a wk is okie also....i feeding my pratas n bubbles with pellets. less troublesome. do not feed the corals with market prawn everyday. u will kill it instead.

Prata?? Can feed daily, no problem but I usually feed alternate days or once per 3 days...

Now reducing my feeding as feed too much will cause nitrates and phoshates to increase.

If you want to feed market prawns, need to chop into small pieces hor...but prata dun need lah. My prata ate one of my clown fishes previously when it died and landed on the prata.

Better way of feeding is to use Mysis shrimp. Foul the water less...or else you can use Henry's Reef Gourmet.

went down to henry's and bought the gourmet. apparently my long tentacles spit out after a couple of hrs later after i target feed it, wonder why.. but the rest all ate the gourmet.

yeah maybe it was a bit too big to swallow. my frozen mysis is so small after defrozed and by the time i throw in, all fishes grab finish already..

do not feed market prawns everyday. your coral will die. regardless of which coral...

LPS don't need regular feedings. once in awhile like 1 or 2 weeks a light feeding with mysis will benefit them alot already. like what bro vtec has mentioned, pellets are very useful. i feed pelelts to my brains and favias. for stinging wavy corals, mysis works very well. market prawn once in awhile ya

oh but do take note there are some exceptions like sun corals and other non-photosynthetic corals. since they don't photosynthesize to make food, regular feedings will have to be made. daily feedings are best, but again, in small portions

yeah the maxpect is nice. the blue effect is really true blue.. unbelievable! and yes our lifestocks are quite similar, share the same taste for a start
