Coral not good - can exchange ???

I bought a ocoral from a LFS yesterday but the lighting was not good in the tank and shop. I choose one of the brain and immediately it was packed before I can inspect it.

When I put the coral in the tank with MH lights on, I got a shock when I saw that the slightly 1/4 of it not good. The flesh is not covering the coral skeleton.

I am disapointed, can I call the shop and asked for an exchange. I don't think OP was out to cheat me but I guess it partly my fault b'cos I choose it.

Anyone has similar experiences and how you dealt with the LFS.

if u buy a bran coral.....when it is not open, the skeleton will stick out from the flesh........thats normal....
