heard it contains high level of minerals...

all these while i've been adding only mineral water, sometimes buy SW fom LFS.

cannot use mineral water. To top up, use commerical distilled water,DI. or self made DI water.

I think cannot. The minerals if you read the ingredients properly are not suitable for marine aquarium.
