OMG: Nubi infestation

Very common to have nudi infestation for zoas.

Check for any nudis/eggs when buying new colony. Go through the paces of dipping, quarantine, for a few days before putting in the main tank so that when the egg hatches, the baby nudis will be eradicated by dipping.

Normally nudis are mono-eaters, ie, they eat the same type of food or species of zoas.

btw, a friend use to tell me his way of preventing nudis from new zoas are also to place them not on the sandbed. as the nudi may hide in the sandbed and difficult to be hunted down by us or by predators.

rocks or racks maybe a better choice to place new zoas.
