loong72188
Hi, I was wondering which wavemaker will be adequate for a standard 2 ft tank. Can anyone advice on the LPH that is sufficient for the tank and yet not too powerful? Currently using a eheim 2224 canister and a tunze 9002 skimmer. SRC Member comycus Posted January 6, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted January 6, 2010 Just to add... your Tunze skimmer requires a constant water level to work properly. Can also consider getting an auto water top up. Sometimes maid/parents/wife/children also counts as auto water top up Quote My old 3ft

marinakid
Hydor Nano ... i would suggest hydor 1 or 2. i'm also having a tank of the same dimension and using a hydor 1. personally i feel that the flow is not that strong. if i was given a choice again. probably i would go for a hydor 2. i do not know the effect of the wave on any livestock yet as this is my first marine tank and still in cycle stage. appreciate if other reefer can share their experience.
