flowrate for artica 1/4hp chiller

anyone know what is the best flowrate for 1/4hp artica chiller? I was recommend the ehiem 1260 but I choose rio 20hf due to the higher flowrate. From my understanding higher flowrate should cool the tank faster, but it is not true for my 400l tank. It take around 1hrs to bring 28 to 27degree. I know a lot of reefer using artica chiller, what pump or flowrate will be good to reduce the chilling timing? Thanks a million.

Bro, based on yr tank size, recommended chiller capacity will be 1/3. Maybe that explains. In general, I think 2000 to 3000l/h are recommended for 1/4 to 1/3 chiller. Hope this help.

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Skimmer : BK SM200 with waste collector

Hmmm cause my tank plus sump max is only 450l so i thought artica 1/4hp is already over power le. I see omg then i will need to sell away my rio and get a smaller flowrate liao. :pinch:
