Tang Family

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am glad that i joined this forum where i learnt alot and my knolwedge increased thru all your comments, appreciate.

I have a 2ft tank with live rocks and i have only one powder brown tang which i have bought recently. Could anyone advice me if could add on any of the tang family? I kinda fond of BT and YT. I intend to keep only 5 fishes, what are the types that you would recommend and most important is that all live in harmony.

Thanks.

you should not even be keeping any tang in a 2ft tank. just way way too small for them. tangs are active swimmers, constant grazers, need good and brisk water movements. they need space and a 2ft tank is really too small. dont forget that liverocks will displace water volume too. so the more stuff u add the less water volume.

smaller fishes are reccomended for a tank of this size. perhaps a small dwarf angel? there are many other small and peaceful fishes for you to explore.
