oh my... I can 'see' you sitting at the side of the cabinet having a meal and just staring at the tank! :yeah:

Hahaha, nowadays eating fruits beside the tank;

Sometimes move to the other side and can get some thinking and work done with the table

By the way, is it ok to have 2 flamehawk in the same tank?

This fellow is very cute ...

nice work on the MaxSpect stand.

Wonder if the 160W will be too much for the softies.

Take note of the corals colour when you get them initially and after a few weeks.

It is customised by Victor

ok, :thanks: i was cracking my brains on doing something like that...finally bingo!

The prob with the clip on is the fixture is too near to the water, as a result, the lights too direct, if hang up like yours, just perfect...that's one thing i discover abt using LED..have to place them higher.

I see. Yeah, the problem with maxspect is that it is not dimmable.

I will be leaving the white light on at night for 8 hours;

and the blue light on for 4 hours.

Hope that is ok.

Yeah, actually, the clip on from maxspect is some sort of a design flaw in my opinion.

We still need to customise it to best suit our needs.

nice scaping... very natural... you may like to consider adding some LR to increase the height a little...

nice plate coral you have... dun think that piece is very common..

Yeah, going to get some more live rocks; scaping will change in about a couple of weeks

This plate coral is quite hardy, thought it will disintegrate when I left it in the ikea tub for a few weeks without light ...

lucky still alive with glowing luminous green spikes

Got it from RD sometime ago ...

If you do not mind drilling your wall, hanging from bracket is the best as you can adjust the height.

If you do not want to drill like Luke, then ya.... this mount works perfectly.

The short tentacle plates are more hardy and their colours more vibrant.

The long tentacle plates quite difficult to keep.

Think 1 flamehawk enough la, there are plenty other nice and cute fishes out there too!

hmm the best is to create some overhangs in your rockwork to allow for low light corals to have a place in the shade.

I see, ok waiting for a blotched anthias...

Yeah thinking of that already; and a bridge too if possible...

looking out for live rocks ....

Hi, it seemed that my miami vice zoa with about 7 polyps is missing.

Searched the whole tank yesterday night but just could not find it.

Has it happened to anyone before?

Any possible explanations?

Also, some of my fishes often flow into the IOS.

What can I do to prevent this?

Thanks!

your zoas frag on a small piece of rock or just the polyps itself?

your IOS does not have a "teeth" barrage?

The zoas on a small rock. Bought this miami vice zoas from LemonLemon; very nice color one.

At first I thought the wave is too strong and blown it somewhere; but still could not find it.

My IOS not using teeth barage; using the square net kind; see pic; found it in my gmail.

May have to find smaller holes one; anyone know where can I get smaller holes one?
