Hey digibee, read tt you are using eheim 1000 to power your chiller. Yours is a 1/10hp right? If it is, I think it's way too underpowered for your Arctica. How long does it take to chill your tank?

initially my wife wants to me to throw them all away last night and restart everything...but i told her cannot lah...throw away....so now she give me 2 weeks grace to find a chiller....if cannot find 2nd hand..have to get 1st hand liao...

not giant lah....Steve's one is giant..mine is a humble tank...

(sorry if i sound sarcastic just now)

currently, still cycling, but i already have 2 anthias inside and 2 false clowns...haha...and tomorrow, 2 more anthias...

corals still in my nano tank...no chiller yet....hunting for 2nd hand one....so meanwhile cannot transfer and decomm my nano...by month end have to transfer everything....that's my wife order....if not i have to give away my corals...

I queue for your corals... :eyebrow:

3x2x2 tank with IOS

Equipment List:

Chiller: Artica 1/5HP

Chiller Pump: Sicce 4000

Return Pump: OR3500

Skimmer: Deltec APF600

Wavemaker: Tunze Wavebox/2x Hydor K2/SCWD wavemaker

FR: Skimz

Anyone know what are they? Whether they are reef safe?

Not sure where they come from though.

Anyway, I got a nice small blotched anthias 2 weeks ago.

Currently my favourite!

But he is scared of my african flameback angel who will chase him whenever possible.

Hope he will be doing ok :)

I was thinking of removing it or move it to the sump area if it is not a reef safe slugs.

Anyway, I think they have eaten away my grass like coral.

No, those corals that are like grass.

Not sure the name.

I suspect they are feeding on this; as it has become "botak" and I saw one of them resting on it.

sama sama...i can see funny funny crawlers too and slugs. but i just let them be. no energy to pick them one by one :)

Hi, got my new skimmer! Deltec SC2060.

To help me with my overstocking and livestock buying syndrome!

Just got it setup today; it is huge ... but luckily can fit just nice into my skimmer compartment.

Not really sure whether it is running fine or not ... maybe bros here can advise.

By the way, how should I adjust the shut off valve, it is the black thing on the right in the second photo?

Also, got a frag of this white coral; not sure the name ...

Fishes wise ... currently quite a number of them ... hard to take each one..!

yeah I know;

may change my sump to a bigger one next time.

And also change to EOS for my tank; hence increasing the total water volume.

This morning seemed like not much to skim anymore.

I think I can just on it at night :)

how's ur skimmer doing? :) the black waste valve just leave it as it is. you can turn on if your skimmer cup is full and want to drain the wastage. I drain it once in a while into a 1.5L bottle.

Good news to my skinny spotted mandarin.

Managed to catch it yesterday night as he is getting skinnier and does not much strength to escape.

Put him in the betta box and gave him pellets and arctic pods this morning; no response.

Came back tonight and saw the number of pellets have decreased.

Gave him some brine and mysis shrimp just now .... and he ate them too....

Guessed I can save this mandarin after all.
