This fella is not a shy fish at all after acclimating in the tank.

Would even stand up to your hand in the tank.

Selling at $60 (non negotiable)

Pickup at CCK.

spurting sand onto my mushies and yumas.

cannot get him to settle down lah in fixed home.

Think my sand is too fine for him too.

He almost drowned my yumas!

Actually he did kill one of my SPS frag already and there were way too much sand in my clam.

Dun think my clam is going to make it.

H Jacky, wgat happened to your clam. My clam, think bought ard the same time as yours from CF just died. Took just 2 days. Still dunno what is wrong. Because the Crocea beside it is still going strong. And i thought that maximas were easier than croceas :mellow:

multiple reason I guess.

- I relocated it too often. Was planning to place it on the sandbed and wanted to leave it untouched but the jawfish kept stressing it by spouting large amount of sand into the valve. I placed in on the rock but it kept jumping off the cliff. I had to retrieve it but prob hurt it in the process. I prob teared the gland. + he had aiptasia on his shell and I had to remove them => more stress. So I think really a combo of factors actually.

The other smaller maxima I had had been on the rock since early days and has been left untouched for long period of time. He seemed to be doing ok. (* touch wood)

So the earlier you get it to settle down, the higher chances of survival - I think.
