Sl have some very big 4 inch temmiki fairy wrasses. huge alpha sizes. colour wise really good for a temmiki.

flame hawks, flame angels, black caps (alot), feeding royal pencil wrasses, royal gramma and 5 very very beautiful jackknife fishes! all spotted at SL too.

plenty of sohals, eibli angels, golden butterflies, purple tangs, blood shrimps, blue tangs and other red sea fishes.

edit* 2 burgess butterflies at SL too

Hi lemon,

would like to ask whether did you came across any small flame angels, abt less than 2 inches? looking for a small one think easier to train to feed.

thks.

Most of the flames were covered with foam covers when I was there.

Those that I saw were about 3 - 4 inch. But there maybe smaller ones that I missed.

maybe try calling Sam / Peter (SL) to check before making the trip?

Once again, no offence dude.

I wasn't looking for YTs. I posted my observations since I was around the area - just didn't want people looking for YTs to have a realistic expectation of this batch of YTs, that's all.

My apologies if anybody took offence. Just calling a spade, a spade. Stating what I saw. :paiseh:

hi humphead. as reddevilz said, there are some very small flame angels at sealife. around 2 inches. very cute. im eyeing one too ;) but thinking of getting slightly bigger one. some of them have quite unique patterns. saw 1 with a V shaped marking. two bars conjoined to form a V.

btw so nice meeting u yesterday. hope there are more chances to meet up. cheeers! :)

At Sealife, you don't have to take the risk buying a fish that doesn't feed, and later risk seeing it wasting away (and your money too). Peter or Sam will feed for you to see if the fish that you want eats pellets or mysis (for certain picky fishes) before you decide to buy or not. No obligations. That's one good reason to buy a feeding specimen. And their fishes are quite stable.

CF has their aussie corals still. elegance, duncans, scolymias, favias (these are gorgeous) and blasto merlettis. the blasto merlettis are not the usual small polyped ones. these guys have huge polyps comparable to those of B. wellsi. the colours are very nice too.

cf has some clown tangs that are feeding too. tried just now and 3 of them are feeding on pellets! so grab them if you are a clown tang lover.

GO, lots of nice corals left. plenty of GSP for you kikobananas.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
