If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Thanks for all the comments about the scaping, I'm glad everyone likes it.

Just got internet back, and the tank has been cycling for four weeks now. Starting to get a healthy amount of Copepods, so expect to see some updates soon.

With the 2x400W MH I probably should go for SPS, but I have to travel so much for my work, I'm worried about the maintenance required (trusting the maid when i'm away.) I think I can make an amazing softie, LPS & clam display, and not regret going SPS. Hmmm Still thinking....

Regarding the MH, currently there is no filter between the bulbs and the water, should I put UV filters? Are the bulbs in danger if they get splashed? Will the UV burn the LPS? If so made from what?

If you are using 400 Single End bulb, than its ok.....as the bulb is UV coated. cheers

Cool, I'm using single ended bulbs.

The tank is looking good, but been hard to get any corals to stock the tank. The police at JJ market are cracking down and no coral being sold right now. Probably something to do with this:

My girlfriend has taken my camera, pictures soon I promise!
