SRC Member spicyball Posted December 14, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 14, 2003 Can anybody teach me how to terminate those pest nudibranch. I saw them in my tank quite often recently and yesterday i saw a group of them feasting on one of my colonies of zoos.

SRC Member spicyball Posted December 14, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 14, 2003 I think in layman term, nudibranch are just sea slugs and cukes are sea cucumber. U may refer to http://www.peteducation.com/category_summa...cls=16&cat=1896 for more information about them. Anyway, anemones may post similar danger as well. Achilles Tang
Get a large syringe and suck them up. If you squash them by hand, depending on your allergy levels, you may end up in hospital. No kidding. Logically, if zoanthids are toxic and the nudibranchs eat them, the toxins are in the nudibranchs too.
SRC Member spicyball Posted December 14, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted December 14, 2003 Huh, is manual termination the only way?? Is there any fish that eats them?
