just noticed something..

i think cleaning the scrubber screen might be a problem...

you cant just remove the screen to clean it right?

it looks firmly secured with cable ties..

thats a good point brought up by bro kiko...

another thing to note is that by using a very creative method of using your T5, will the back of your tank still be lighted up? if yes that means that the area there will be continously lighted up for a long period, the algae may start growing there instead.. you may like to do a opaque cover to prevent this..

Also, why not use a clip on light from IKEA instead? at least you can plug it to a timer and dun have to manually adjust the lights.. =]

just my 2 cents..

After reading the Cree LED Lights, it seem that with that light it is good enough to keep sps

After digging out all my money I ordered one! i plan to use the 12000k LED light at the spot for my sps only.

So now my tank is using 2 12000k white light , 1 blue antinic light and the LED spotlight. i think it will be enough for sps edi :yeah:

I m using the ikea tertial stand . At first i thought it would not be strong enough to hold but it prove me wrong :look:

Here are some pictures of the LED

Algae grow well on glass. I experience it when I light up my scrubber in the sump The sump area where the scrubber is located is heavily coated with algae.
