ok la.. too many people at FISH MARKET this morning! lol... i think all the rics are gone... we grab 3 pieces, all small ones.. and i bought an anthias... Uncle say BLUE EYE... which i dunno which species...

Looks abit like blotchy anthias but not so dark in colouring... yellow colour now.

Oh yes! our Powder Brown finally eats! ANd he eats everything... pellats, flakes, Henrys... i think he must be hungry after going for Diet for 5 days!

Hi guys, sorry about the carpet anemone adoption. Sad to say it was already boarding up the lorry when i placed it in the betta box.

Nice corals you have there, you might wanna monitor your elegance. Heard elegance have this disease that makes them really difficult to take care

Hey Eniram, no worries abt the carpet... i was so sad to hear it did not make it... haiz... Anyway, we kinda decided not to keep carpet as it either dies easily or grow to big... As for the elegance, so far seems ok.. I think key is to target feed them a fair bit.. anyway, just try our luck since this is a very nice specimen.

Justin, you become fish in my tank everyday I try to cheong home to feed you!!! It would be henry's food everyday! But hor, you have to compete with the SEa pig and the rest of the fishes hor. Cannot be shy shy ah.

LOL My neighbour saw me at home by 615pm and he said : "WAH how come you home so early?" then I say : "Cheong home to feed fish lor!"

Aiya, bought 3 rics but one of the rics this morning MIA-ed. REally don't know where it went. Put 3 on the designated RIc Plateau last night ( or this morning at 2am!) and today, 1 is missing.. only the 2 blue ones are left...the green one has disappeared. HAIZ. Don't know who is the culprit!

Will take another vid soon since the tank livestock has changed since the last vid was taken. The Red gornio is opening up very nicely.. hee hee

BTw Lemon lemon, next time, just call la if you see us, how many crazy reefer couples out there.. currently or as far as I know it's just Cherm & wife ( she has long hair), plus me ( Me short hair) and ketchup so you have a 50% probability of hitting the nail on the head.

Did you glue the ric to your ric plateau? If not, very likely that it has floated away somewhere else in your tank.

no didn't glue as we have 2 other rics which were there already without any gluing and it stayed leh. And the other 2 blue ones are still there.. let me check...YUP it's Stil there.. hhmm I didn't know rics could float away. ARUGH.. cause the area we have our little plateau is not exposed to much current at all so it's rather gentle flow there...so I don't expect it to float.. haiz. $$$ down the tubes. oh well... Hopefully I'd see it someday.. somewhere.. out there..... (breaks into song).. BENEATH my M H, someone's looking for you...

hmm, actually thinking of glueing to some coral chip... is that how u guys do it? Didnt want to glue to the liverock as it's quite a big piece and we use it to support other rocks.

let the ric attach to some rubble rock or coral chip, then glue the coral chip to the rock. never glue the polyp directly to the rock because it will slime and not stick.

Thanks,...actually the colours looks better in real life.. more red... the problem with all these pics are the white balance.. next time then i go sort out the white balance so the colours will be more accurate.

What you can do is to check if there is any rock stubble attached to the foot of your rics. If there is, get some super glue gel from Homefix or any hardware store. dry the rock stubble on the ric, pit 2-4 drops of super glue glue gel on the rock stubble and place the ric on the rock you want to stick the ric to. Then put the ric and rock back into your tank to cure. This is what I do for all the rics that you see on the rocks in my thread.

If there is not any rock stubble on the foot of your ric, then get a betta box, fill the bottom with coral chips and place your ric on the coral chips. Put the betta box where there is very little current. The ric should attach to one of the coral chips with a couple of days. You can then glue the coral chip the ric is attached to any rock you want.

haha.. just anyhow hamtam 1 la...

i threw in:

abt 10 small to medium size prawn

abt 10 small scallops

abt 5 slices of fish meat

5 cubes of mysis shrimp

5 cubes of brine shrimp

2 teaspoon of cyclopeeze

2 teaspoon of seaweed flakes

some seawater

just blend it and it makes abt 40 servings.. abt 1 teaspoon per serving.. i scoop into small ziplock bags that i bought.

I think we will throw in some garlic guard each time we unfreeze each serving.

We threw in the remnants in the blender and they just moped up everything so i just they will definitely eat it.. just gotta make sure it's the right amount to avoid overfeeding and to add in more nutrients..

Actually chopping the ingredients into small pieces would be a better option as blending into paste can really foul up your water if you overfeed.
