Planning to get a desktop to replace my spoilt laptop... Anyone planning to go down this weekend?

Think LFS biz will be affected if everyone goes down to expo instead of fish farm... :unsure:

will be jammed pack.

when does it start?

Checked le, $2.50 for 3 hrs only... Think it's better than queuing up and waiting for god knows how long at expo

I don't think there's alot of good catches la... prices all v. normal nowadays, more freebies i suppose. Just have to join in the squeeze coz need to get replacement computer.

yah the prices are not that fantastic in these fairs. but they do give you more freebies. RAM update etc.

What are you getting Comy? iMac or windows desktop?

Windows la... I'm still reluctant to switch to Mac. Maybe get one of those full hd lcd monitors to watch movies in my room :)

Consider iMac , you can bootcamp the harddisk so you can select to boot up in Mac or bootup in windows.

heh I knew tt was coming... remember seeing tt huge mac screen at your dining table when I went over last time.

I actually prefer Leopard over Vista (but prob gonna get windows7). Just that a decent spec mac is not cheap. Its either Windows or Mac & no more stocking up for the next 6 months. hahaa which means I will be happy only in my room but miserable in the living hall. Need to compromise, not earning big bucks like u :P

between stocking and iMac - okie I vote go for windows + stocking :P

88/month get macbook :) its telco battle this weekend. You know it when you see them giving away high end stuff. But must do proper calculations also la, dun anyhow sign up.

Can check either in hardware zone forum or VR zone for more details.

Will suggest taking MRT if u r going down.

I was there earlier at 4pm to pass a buyer for my car parts at CBP. The jam is already very long!

Can u imagine tomorrow onwards when it is a non work day. :sick:

But if you are still driving there. Do note the right turn into the main car park is blocked off. You can only enter from the direction of MRT station.

My diving kaki have it already. Underwater photo quality is not bad. It's one of my concern...
