where can i buy agaon those bottled pods bro ?

Live pods? No place selling now...

You will have to wait for either AM or Aqua Mart to bring in the live pods. Aqua Mart may be bringing in the DT Copepods after CNY but not confirmed yet.

Processed pods, Jireh Marine used to have but not sure if they have any stock now. You can call them at 67630332 to check if they have stock.

Artic pods - harvested, sterilised and bottled. Cheaper alternative to live pods for feeding finiky eaters such as mandarins.

Yup, mandarins will still feed on them. No issues about that... :eyebrow:

Latest update ... installed PAR38 last night. My current stocks accepted it well, not as bright as the maxspect 110w, but enough i would say. GF also likes it better :eyebrow:

The positive things on this are it gives me more control on positioning the light (the bulb is indeed heavy), luckily it fit well on my existing philips pantograf desk lamp.

Here's current FTS.

Here's how the adjustments are.

What i've done for fear of eventually the bulb sinking down and dip on the water is to offset it so it is on top of the front corner of the tank (though after tightening the locks, seems not dipping at all). If needed to access, the clamp mount on the adjacent table allows me to swing the lamp towards the back wall with ease.

Looks good Jun.

If you can find some small flat rocks and epoxy one on the low left, one on the high middle and one on the mid right, you will have more space for corals.

advise you to get frags so that you can have more variety.

Just one last thing to note about the PAR38, is the shimmering effect, quite nice and realistic (as when your in the reefs) i could say. For now since i'm only using 1 lamp, there are some darker areas specially at the back, but for now it's still ok i guess. The bulb indeed gets hot, but i could still hold the heatsink fins though. Here's a close-up. You could see the shimmering against the wall, which can also be seen in the sandbed and rocks.

Thanks Bro for the advise. yup that's what i thought also, since the left side have a ledge which i can easily mount a flat rock. after a couple of days getting bro peter's zoas and mini-blastos, will see what's next

Haha, yeah bro, really like a desktop. was actually considering if i would mount another one more like bro fuel's, but for now should be sufficient i guess.
