Finally set up my newbie 3x2x2 tank today.

3x2x2 tank with IOS

Equipment List:

Chiller: Artica 1/5HP

Chiller Pump: Sicce 4000

Return Pump: OR3500

Skimmer: Deltec APF600

Wavemaker: Tunze Wavebox/2x Hydor K2/SCWD wavemaker

Lights: DElighting 2x150W MH + 2x 39W T5 Atinic

FR: Skimz

FR Pump: Atman AT-104

Bro need more rocks? I will be selling my old ones.

Currently dun think so lah... :rolleyes: Put more rocks wait later have more space to put corals then spend more money... :eyebrow:

My tank will be only LPS and softies so if put too high may be too bright for the corals since I have 300W of MH lights. Unless I want SPS in future, then I may increase the height of my rockscape.

I have a brain next to the overflow so it I put the wavebox next to the overflow, the current will be directly hitting the brain which I do not want.

now you have a lot of space for corals.

Much shopping to do.

I still have many corals which I have not put in yet. Right now there are ard 30 pcs of corals in the tank. Will add the rest once my live sand bed is added in.

wah how come never add in first? The LS be affected when u add sand?

Because Victor mixed me up with Chris... :pirate:

He thought I was Chris so Chris didn't want live sand so he didn't bring any... :angry2:

Anyway, he will be putting in the live sand this Thurs. A couple of corals and probably fishes will be added in also. He said adding the live sand won't affect the LS as he will be putting in the live sand gently between the rocks. :unsure:

The star fish is in my nano tank. Corals in my nano tank will be shifted to my main tank bit by bit. Nano tank will in future be a FOWLR tank. Maybe some cheap softies and LPS will be added in future.

have u tot of changing to wooden stand? since now ur ls is not full, best time to change it.....metal will rust easily

I did ask but Chennai wooden stand will cost ard 500+ and stainless steel stainless stand will cost ard 300+. Decided to use the metal stand for the time being.

Ya...the nicest is the wavebox...should engrave RedDevil in bold RED, 100pts brush type font... :eyebrow:

But I support Liverpool so Red Devil is out for me... :P Later people think I am a MU supporter... ^_^

Next week on weekdays will be better... :eyebrow:

Sand will be in on Thursday and most of my corals will also be in by then.

I had a 4ft on steel stand for a couple of years. no issues for mine.

Just becareful of saltwater dripping down these stands.

They will corrode the stain and rust stains will spoil the floor tiles.

Need to be more vigilant.

Right now I have a problem with the overflow...Bloody noisy... :eyeblur:

For the rust, I will be spraying WD40 on the rusty areas soon to get rid of the surface rust.

Juz put in two Hydor K2 wavemakers for additional flow.
